Measure the process

Why do we measure things we can't control? We measure weight loss, finding peace, job opportunities. I've been realizing that we shouldn't measure the goal as much as we should measure the tool that will help us get there. The right outcome will be achieved if the right pattern is conceived.

-We can't inherently control how much weight we loose, but we can control the hour we put in the gym everyday.

-We can't inherently control the how much peace we feel, but we can control the hour we put into prayer everyday

-We can't inherently control the job opportunities, but we can control the hour we put into applying everyday.

Measure the process, not the goal. I promise, if the habit is congruent with the goal, the goal will be achieved.

What are you measuring that you can't actually control?
