What do We do with Our Privilege?

Blog Frame .png

We are all privileged in a certain way. So, instead of feeling shameful of our own advantages, we should ask the question: How can we leverage our privilege to help the less privileged? I read this in my Bible today:

Treat one another justly.
Love your neighbors.
Be compassionate with each other.
Don’t take advantage of widows, orphans, visitors, and the poor.
Don’t plot and scheme against one another—that’s evil.
— The Bible

It’s our responsibility to read convicting words and put them into practical action in our own lives. So, with the verses above, what can you do?

  • You might have influence you can utilize to inspire your people to volunteer.

  • You might have money you can spare for the poor in your community.

  • You might have clothes you can donate to your local Goodwill.

Turn your devotion into action.

How can you leverage your privilege to help the less privileged?
