The Obligation

I believe the most important jobs in our lives are shaped as an obligation. Over the course of the past five years, I've become increasingly frustrated with how so many of us are living lives that are void of meaning. This frustration is like an old building for me, it just never goes away, no matter what I do.

This blog is my tool to do my part. To be honest, I know I will be spending 100s of hours on this blog over this next year, but I don't have any other choice. This issue is so pertinent to me that I am willing to sacrifice anything so those in my community who feel isolated and lonely can find meaning through my vulnerability.

I dream about clocking in and clocking out of a 9-5 job, but my mission is not to earn a money through ads or to become a popular blog. My dream for this blog is for my people to be inspired to create a thriving life with the people around them. Maybe money will come, maybe will not come, but in many ways, this blog doesn't even seem much of a choice as it does an opportunity for change.

So what are obligated to do?
