The most beautiful aspect of Christianity must be the fact that we do not have to carry the weight we rightly deserve. The whole point of a man dying on a cross was so that you can live in a freedom, not chained down by your mistakes.
“Therefore, my friends, I want you to know that through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you. Through him everyone who believes is set free from every sin, a justification you were not able to obtain under the law of Moses.”
Jesus gave us an impossible gift. This gift can allow you to break the chains of systematic oppression, chronic depression, and nasty addictions. There is freedom that you already posses because of the man Jesus! Are you going to live into that freedom, knowing that you stand under wide open skies? If you serve a God who did the impossible, and if we were made in the image of this God, what is our own capability?
