Take Notes

From a big session to another big session to lunch to big session to breakout to meeting, this conference is so good! BUT, it's like drinking from a fire hose. There is so much to learn with so little time it can seem overwhelming. That's why it's important to take notes, not just for retention in the moment but also for reflection later on.

Take notes on everything in fact, not just when we're "supposed" to be learning. Learn everywhere, from everyone. There are so many nuggets of gold created in every conversation but we never seem to grab them and put them in our pockets! It takes an intentional effort to write down ideas, feelings, fears, hopes, and even opinions.

Practical Tool: Open Notes on your phone and write everything. At the end of the week, read over them and save all the good ones in a document. Then, repeat.

Who knows, maybe one of those ideas will turn into your life's work
