Releasing Frustration

Okay, I don’t usually share this, but due to the circumstances, I will:

I am a HUGE Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Why am I sharing this? Yesterday, the Steelers lost in a very dramatic fashion. As a fan of this club, I’m not used to losing, so needless to say, I was extremely frustrated. I had a couple options at the height of my anger, either I could watch a movie and eat popcorn, all the while sitting in my anger, or I could go work out. I chose the latter.

What do you do when you need to release some tension?

Many of us run to social media or lash out at a friend. Instead, try doing something active without verbally venting your emotions. You’ll find, just like I did last night, that by the time you’re done with said activity, you realize everything will be okay.

When you feel extreme frustration, do something active.

P.S. Pray for my Steelers.
