Highlights of the Week

This has absolutely been my favorite week of this year so far. I was inspired by the challenges that we took on ourselves. To be honest, it was totally out of the norm for me to speak to three random strangers; however, it’s been something that I’ve wanted to do for so long, but I was waiting for others to want to do it with me.

Here are some of your completed challenges:

"My challenge is kind of huge... and it will take more than just a week to complete. I’ve had a dream for a while to write and record an album. I want to take all of those songs and put it in an album and call it “The Ones I Wrote for You” — and the…

"My challenge is kind of huge... and it will take more than just a week to complete. I’ve had a dream for a while to write and record an album. I want to take all of those songs and put it in an album and call it “The Ones I Wrote for You” — and then give a copy to each of those people for Christmas. With the encouragement of my friend Jake and this awesome group, I decided to do it myself. Even if I have to watch endless YouTube tutorials, I will do so with no shame! Haha

I'm so glad to have been challenged to go after something I've been wanting to do for awhile, but had just been making silly excuses not to. Milwaukee is such a neat city and I would have never known. I've fallen into this bad habit of settling, routine, and comfort lately, living for the weekend, but doing nothing with my weekends. I've allowed my work to consume a great deal of my life and the worries of "adulting" keep me from going after things that I want to do. But my road trip today helped bring refreshment and a fresh perspective: my best life waits for no one, not even me. So here's to living simply and simply living! -Lindsay Berry

I hope you have felt inspired to create good in your community this week as well. I have a dream for us to inspire each other every week and I believe, after this week, that it's already happening.
