Exhausting Work
I spent some time with people last night and it went very well, but I was exhausted after leading four services of middle schoolers all day; though, I enjoy when I feel exhausted after work. This means that I pushed myself to do the things necessary to be proud of the job I did. I hope I feel exhausted at least once a week. Sure, if we’re living into our purpose, we should be deriving energy from our work; with that said, it’s still going to feel work.
My goal this week is to be exhausted after the work I did. It’s weird, I know, but I’d rather give too much than not enough.
