Enriching Interactions

In my job as a pastor, I have the opportunity to serve people every single Saturday and Sunday!

To be honest though, sometimes it does not feel like an opportunity, but in those moments, I do it anyways. Being as consistent as I have been (missing only four weekends in 19 months), has brought me a unique insight: The more I see the same faces, the more richer the interactions. The enjoyment I feel after talking to someone I have been around 50+ times is spectacular. It seems like every weekend gets better and better because of the friends that I get to see. Consistency can so easily breath intimacy. I just hope that instead of moving from one community to another, we are able to stay consistent with at least one, through the ups and downs, and we will see the reward.

How are you being relationally consistent?
