Direction Vs. Destination

Blog Frame .png

We need to stop look at life as a destination.

We are always striving for the unreachable, always waiting for the next event, always yearning for the next paycheck. When is enough, enough? If we are not careful, we can easily become people who are never satisfied.

Let's look at life as a direction.

Are we going in the right direction? If so, that should be enough. We don't need that next relationship or read that next book to feel like we've 'made it' (whatever that means). A "directed" life will often lead to a healthy life. I don't want to sit on my deathbed thinking about how I almost reached joy. I want to know that I'm headed the right way and that joy is accessible right now.

Are you living a life with a destination or a direction in mind?
