Do you ever have those weeks where you just feel off? Well, that's this week for me. I'm not sure why but there seems to be a cloud over everything. I get these weeks every once in a while and once I notice it, I don't mind them. In these moments, I feel a little more subdued than normal and I tend to seclude myself from others.
Something that I like about cloud weeks is the perspective that I'm able to attain. I take a pessimistic look at everything in my life because that's what the cloud do, they shade. At first, I hated it because I let the clouds control me as I made rash decisions based off of pessimistic ideas. However, now I am able to let the clouds come and let them go and I try to recognize the truth in the midst of the clouds. In other words, I try to separate my negativity and the truth where the negativity came from.
Don't run from cloud weeks, I think they're a healthy part of our development. Also, it's simply a part of being human. We're messy, and sometimes we don't even know why we are messy...and that's okay. Try to enjoy the perspective that you can gain from cloud weeks but don't let it overcome you.
